Getting Here

The nearest major airport to Dyess Air Force Base is the Abilene Regional Airport, located about 14 miles from the base. Taxi service is provided from the airport and the city bus will deliver military personnel to Abilene but does not come all the way to the base.



If arriving by car, exit the airport by turning left on Highway 36. At the light at Treadaway, turn right and then take South 1st. Stay in the left lane to the South 1st interchange. Pass under the freeway and take a left on Arnold Boulevard. The Dyess Air Force Base main gate is located on the right.
